Tilted Planet Press began as a small press book publisher, issuing its first book, Diverging, in 1983. It expanded over the next several years, issuing three fiction anthologies, Tilted Planet Tales 1, 2, & 3, which won the Austin Book Award and then its first poetry anthology, Tilted Planet Poems. An economic downturn reduced the production to three slim chapbooks over the next several years: Poems 1987, Enchanted Rock and Other Poems, and Night Falls in the Lost Pines and Other Poems. Annual production was suspended in 1989. We issued an occasional book beginning in 2007 with I am a comet, and then Benchmarks in 2014. We serialized Watermarks in 2022-2023. Plans for Landmarks are on the shelf.
