What do we offer? Well, in a nutshell, we offer selected creative output from your editor, me. I write poetry and prose about Planet Earth, Democracy, Two Wheeling, Railroading, Reading, Romance. If you check out the Archives list on the front page, you’ll see the nutshell.
I don’t have posts up in every category yet.
This marks the fifth major rebuild of the Tilted Planet Press site, stretching back to the early aughts. We’ve weathered the transition across several platforms, including Adobe GoLive, Apple iWeb, RapidWeaver, and since about 2018, WordPress. Around 2020 I got ambitious and set up an online storefront using Woo Commerce. That turned out to be an administrative nightmare, and I soon dismantled it, leaving this site dormant for years. During that time, I did my posting on robincravey.com, as simple as it could be.
Now, I’m getting ambitious again, but not too ambitious. I found a WordPress theme, Tenku, that has a clean magazine layout, with a stylish front page and some built-in templates for the back pages. I’m putting in the time to learn how to use it. I’m bringing over a few things from robincravey.com.
I’m working hard to get this site ready for launch, and it’s an iterative process. Meaning, this welcome post will be improved, and everything will get better. You ain’t seen nothing yet!
